Tokyo resturant July 2012

Well went in for dinner, started out good had my fortune and my soup all in one, turns out the slip of paper from a cookie came out and was in my soup.  Tried my first egg roll, not bad but better with sweet and sour sauce.  The Mongolian Beef was good as was pork lomein. the egg rolls were cold and so they re-did them....a little grease on the plate.

Baconator Review

Well The Baconator is not worth writing home about,  Have made a better Bacon Cheese burger on the home grill.  Service was fast so I can't complain of course but it was fast food.   FYI Mrandma and grandpa make better

Olive Garden Anchorage -

Oh be still my wings and feathers - got to Olive Garden at last -- Food Glorious Food  --- and lots of it.
Arrived around 3pm, had a 15 min wait to get seated.  Had two bowls of soup, Salad, Pasta x 3 and good service.  They did have a slight problem in the kitchen but unlike a different restaurant I explored once they came to the table not only once but twice to make sure we were aware and taken care of.
Our waitress Demetrila did a great job average cost of the $21.85 a good deal in my book.

 ---   I am signing off with one last word -- DESERT   two of them,    Yum Yum Yum

I give the overall experience 8 out of 10 wings up.

Wasilla I Hop 5/13/2012

Long time no blog, but went to I hop yesterday and our waitress Courtney was awesome, Had a Bacon and Cheddar crape and a Colorado Omelet with pot roast beef and veggies.  I also discovered flavored coffee additives ----- French Vanilla   Yummmmmmm

I would rate the experience 8 out of 10 wings up.

Willow Ham & Burger 4/15/2012

Wheewww -- Flew out to Willow for something different -- Home Cooking

Yes it is a Ham and Burger and Homemade Fries with Beer ---   Yummmm Yummmmm -- (sorry no beer too young)  Cheese and Bacon all that was missing    I give it 6/10 wings up -- Needs the Cheese and Bacon  But very good---------------------  OJ

Krazy Moose Subs - Wasilla 4-14-2012

OJ Here, went to Krazy Moose and over did it again ---  Well I had two subs a Hot Italian and a Seafood Wrap.  The first picture is the Hot Italian 

As usual -- Yummy, I substute Italian dressing for the oil and vinegar, and the hot part is having the meat warmed on the flat top, so it is not spicey, if I do want spice they have a hot sauce bar with a wide selection....I give it 9/10  warm and yummy.

Yummmmm -- If you like imitaation crab then you will love this wrap, I got mine in the Spinach wrap but they have two other selections, It has lettice, tommato, onion, crab, cheese and you get crab in every bite.  The only place I know to ge it is Krazy Moose......Go Moose. 10/10 -- Oh my wings are getting so tired

And the Cookies are to die for - have not had a bad one yet- Made by Kendal --- fresh and Yummmmmmmy

Also they have new T-Shirts and Hoodies in now -- But none in OJ size  :-(   

SO go to Main street in Wasilla, take the first Right and go to Krazy Moose

Friday Krazy Moose 3-24-12

Friday - Krazy Moose Subs - Wasilla Alaska

Went in at 3ish for lunch, they close at 4, so I was cutting it close.  Went for the 5" Hot Italian sub, with no peppers and italian dressing.   ---- YUmmmmmm   ----  Now I am one lucks bird shortly after my order they ran out of bread and only had huge salids and wraps ----  as usual fast service, and filling comfort food.   I give it a 9 out of 10 beaks.

Mar 17, 2012 - IHOP 1106 Muldoon Road - Anchorage

OJ here, and I ate, ate ate.  My server Jesse was awsome. I had a Bacon Cheese Crepe, a Ham and Egg melt and a Bacon Bacon-Cheese Burger.  I may be a small Owl but I haved mad food skills.

all in all a 8 out of 10.  Service was fast and our table was well stocked and often checked up on.

Almost Forgot went to see the LORAX movie - Movie popcorn is good, Butterfinger bites and CookieDough Bites also good --- Of course it's COOKIE DOUGH -- how can it be wrong -- This was my first time sneaking in a movie with my friend Berry -- It was a grand adventure.  Bad news was we left a few pieces of popcorn in G-Ma's Purse   ((Busted))

Krazy Moose Subs - Wasilla 3-16-12

Yummm ---- Yummmm - Yummm -- OK so I had a Cheese Steak, and YUMMMMM says it all, juicy meatm grilled Onions, Peppers and Mushrooms, on a white roll with melted cheese.   For Desert a butterscotch "Kendal" Cookie.
I give it a 9 out of 10.... Good flavor served warm on fresh bread.   What more could a growing OWL need.   

A cold case part II

Wal-Mart sandwich take2: Phily Cheese Steak - Lots of meat and cheese is soso, but if your looking for Onions and Green Peppers don't bother none on it - smells real good taste is a 8 of 10

The Kashi Trail mix chewy granola bar was the perfect ending to a lunch it gets 10.

Let's talk Beef and things

3/13/2012  - 8:58p.m.  ARBY's Wasilla

Tonight I had the need for feed, so I went out and got the new Angus Philly Sand. with curley fries  but not to stop short I also had a Chicken Bacon Sand, Mozzerela sticks and fries.   I may be small but I know how to eat ---- :-)

The Philly was good, it was juicy, and warm, cheese well melted, vegies raw, and toasted roll held up well not becoming soggy at all, it also had flavor.   I give it 7 out of 10 beaks up.

The Chicken Bacon Sandwich was noithing to write home about, not much flavor so it only gets 5 out of 10 beaks.

All in all $20.06 with drinks was not bad for a late dinner, of course they took up the sauce dispencer before I go tmy order.

Well off to bed ------- Need to sleep off the Good Mood Food

Almost forgot, I travel by ship everyso often, get tired of flappin my little wings, so I use Carnival Cruise Lines,  They have 1 food item I must give a 10 out of 10 beaks to....Something that makes my little feathers quiver .... Chocolate Melting Cake.....What can I say CHOCOLATE ---------

Review of Wal-Mart - Sandwich from the cold case

From the Wal-Mart cool counter
New York Deli Style Chicken/Bacon/Ranch
Says to heat from 2:30 to 3:00 min.  at 2:30 it burns my little wings, when you take it out all the cheese melts out of the sandwich
First bite was very hot - almost burnt my beak.
Would rate this sandwich 7 beaks out of 10

Wasilla I Hop

Saturday March 10, 2011 - Went to the local I Hop in Wasilla, Alaska the three of us ordered several things, a BB Bacon Burger, a new menu item Philly Cheese Steak and Ham and Egg melt.
The front desk was a little confused but out waitress Christine was excellent, Prompt and knowledgible of the menu.
Now for the food - The BB Bacon Burger and Onion rings was ordered with Potato soup  --- Yummmmmm
The Ham and Egg melt was also very good served with seasoned fries
The Philly Cheese Steak - was good but nothing to TWEET home about.

Overall on a scale of 1 to 10  I will give it 8 beaks
